2021 SUMMER SOLSTICE SHOOT OUT!
Our next Marina Pez Vela tournament is happening on June 19th and brings a brand new SPECIES HUNT format to test the skills of Anglers & Crews here in Costa Rica!
The past few years the Marina has focused on bringing more fun 1 day, low entry cost tournaments to the calandar to help encourage more people to try their hand at tournament fishing in a fun stress free, family friendly environment. These events such as the Dorado Derby, Roosterfish Rodeó & Sailfish Slam have been a huge success and the Summer Solstice Shootout is a continuation of this series.
To celebrate the longest day of the year, fishing hours of 5.30am to 5.30pm will make it the longest fishing hours for any of our events.
Teams will aim to catch as many of the 20 mandated species as they can whilst also competing for optional Cash Jackpots. A photograph/video release format will be used so that this event can have a strong emphasis on Catch & Release with only certain good eating fish being required to be weighed for heaviest fish prizes.
Team entry is just $250 plus optional Jackpots.
