The fishing has been a little tough the past few days over the full moon so today we chose to fish closer in, primarily 15-23 miles from the marina, a big difference to the 40 miles we were out yesterday.
Thankfully we managed to find some fish and we released 3 Sailfish from 4 raised and caught 2 nice sized Dorados, pulling the hooks on another 2. We live baited for Marlin for a while and for a moment we thought we had struck gold with a Marlin until a Sailfish cleared the surface.
Jack is a fantastic young Angler, this was his second time aboard GOOD DAY and such a joy to see how passionate he is about Fishing and learning new skills.
We have a half day trip tomorrow & then back out with Ken & Jack on Tuesday to try for Roosterfish & Cubera Snappers!
