We caught our first fish at 11 miles, then pushed out to 20 miles where we managed a double. We then moved out wide to 35 miles where it looked great for a Marlin in 1200-1500 feet with diving birds, dolphins, schools of bait and logs floating everywhere but we could literally not even manage a bite out there. To finish up the day, we ran back closer to shore and added another two Dorados to the tally at a current break we found at 15 miles.
So Zero Billfish raised for us today but we will be back out looking for them on Thursday!
Our tally for our first 3 days of the season:
Wednesday - 7 Dorado, 1 Sailfish
Monday - 5 Dorado, 2 Sailfish
Tuesday - 5 Dorado
