We had a great Father & Son 1/2 day trip aboard KNOT EASY a few days back.
14 year old Michael & 12 year old Joe had the battle of their lives when we hooked into a feisty Blue Marlin around the 200-250lb range. The boys fought the fish for 20 minutes each before the leader parted when the fish was close to the boat. Such a stunning fish that put on a great show when we hooked it, the energy on the boat was just awesome as the boys watched the fish tail walk, in pure ore.
Later in the day 12 year old Joe caught his first ever Sailfish which he was just delighted with.
Then right at the end of the day we got a triple header of Dorado, unfortunately all of them threw the hooks quickly though. There is a lot of bait about at the moment and we are experiencing some finnicky bites some days.
