OCTOBER CATCH REPORT!
We did 8 trips aboard GOOD DAY during October to get the new season started. September/October are typically our slowest months of the year visitor wise & the peak of the rainy season so we use this time to get the boat maintenance taken care of & some holiday time before we get cracking properly again from November. But it was nice to get a few shake down trips under our belt & get some hours on the new engine which is running great.
October proved way drier than usual, some reports in the area only recorded 30% of average rainfall during the month. As such on most fishing days we were treated to calm seas & nice weather, with just a couple of bumpy & rainy days.

9 October - 1 Sailfish & 6 Tuna
10 October - 5 Sailfish & 9 Tuna
11 October - 1 Dorado & 12 Tuna
19 October - 13 Sailfish & 1 Grouper
24 October - 1 Black Marlin, 4 Sailfish & 2 Dorados
25 October - 1 Blue Marlin, 3 Sailfish, 5 Tuna
29 October - 1 Striped Marlin & 8 Sailfish
30 October - 1 Sailfish & 1 Dorado. Missed a Marlin & lost 2 big Bull Dorados
We have a packed November to look forward to with new & repeat guests visiting us from all over the world. We have 3 tournaments on 9, 16, 23 November, wish us luck with those & we are looking forward to some excellent Fishing!
