What a weekend for the 2025 Pelagic Rockstar!
107 Teams battling it out for a share of $2.3m prize money here at Marina Pez Vela Costa Rica.
The fishing was fantastic with 2325 Sailfish, 95 Blue Marlin, 4 Black Marlin & 1 Striped Marlin all released as per Costa Rica law. 20 Tuna & 11 Dorado were brought to the scales & it was a nail biting last day as we waited for the scales to close!
We had an amazing team, huge thanks to TEAM SALTY CANUCKS Chris, Brian & Steve for fishing with us for the second year running. The guys were fantastic from start to finish. Last year we scooped 1st place in the Dorado division and this time the stars aligned & we managed to win the Tuna division. 226lbs was the combined weight of our day 1 fish (171lbs) & day 2 fish (55lbs). Then we learned our 171 pounder was the largest fish weighed in the Rockstar’s 9 year history, talk about icing on the cake!
