TUNA & DORADO ABOARD GOOD DAY!
We landed 2 nice Tuna (72lbs & a big guy estimated at 120lbs) as well as a Dorado yesterday during our Offshore trip with a great bunch of guys, Jim Chambers, Bob, Dylan & John.
Three of the guys are fisheries scientists/marine biologists and we had some great Fishy conversations throughout the day sharing stories and perspectives on the mysteries of the deep!
One of the highlights of the day was when Bob hooked & fought a Sailfish on a Spinning Rod & Tuna jig which was great fun but unfortunately the Sailfish threw the hook close to the boat after 10 minutes on the line.
Our good Friend Jim was the star of the show landing the biggest fish of the day, an estimated 120lb Tuna, his best fish caught aboard GOOD DAY to date after many trips with us.
