Another great fishing tournament in the books, during the 2021
Marina Pez Vela
Open here in Costa Rica.
As always we had a total blast and huge thanks to our team the MARINA LAW PASSES ON GOOD DAY.
Yesterday on day 2, our buddy
Jeff Duchesneau
caught the heaviest meat fish of the weekend in the form of a stunning 49lb Bull Dorado, which also took the JACKPOT $$ for the day. @Scott Cutter caught a couple of Sailfish & was unlucky to lose a Blue Marlin which threw the hook after a few minutes.
Day 1 included one of the most action packed days of fishing we have had all year, we found a wide open Tuna bite and caught lots of Tuna in the 30lb range but could just not find a big one. Eric Castro was unlucky to lose a stunning Blue Marlin after a 30 min fight and we also raised a few Sails & a Big Bull Dorado which would not eat. We took 2nd place on Tuna, narrowly missing out on the JACKPOT $$$ by just 4lbs.
Huge congrats to Frenzy, Caliente & Pacific Fly for taking the top 3 positions, 1st & 2nd places were all tied on 25 Sailfish apiece with the winner being decided on time, so close.
What a great tournament season it has been here. This week we are host to the 2021
Offshore World Championship
and best of luck to all teams competing!
After that our next tournament is the first ever SUMMER SOLSTICE SLAM on June 19th, which is going to be a very cool event with a new format, get in touch to find out more!
