COSTA RICA MARLIN BITE IS ON!
We have had a great weeks fishing in Costa Rica aboard the 31’ GOOD DAY & a quick update from the past few days.
Thursday 26 July
Wilder, Leidys & their boys Lucas & Marcus from Florida joined us. We hooked 2 Blue Marlin, with Wilder releasing his first ever Marlin of around 150lbs & then 12 year old Lucas had the fight of his life as he battled a 200-250lb Marlin for 1hr 10 Min’s before he lost it just under the boat. 4 Dorados rounded off an excellent day!
Friday 27 July
If there was a ‘Royal Flush’ in Sport Fishing we ‘almost’ had it today! 4 Tuna, 2 Dorado, 1 Sailfish, super unlucky to lose 2 nice Blue Marlin and also 2 Wahoo, those teeth just getting the better of us! Great to have Dave, Chris, Audra, Christopher & John from South Carolina with us, a fantastic bunch.
We had a maintenance day today & are back out there tomorrow, wish us luck!
