Earlier this week we did a 3 day trip down to the OSA Peninsula in Southern Costa Rica with Kevin & Shannon from Alberta, Canada.
What a blast we had with fantastic company, calm seas, excellent weather & a stunning location. The fishing did not disappoint either!
Our base for 3 days was 'Poor Mans Paradise', a remote beachside location with great cabins overlooking the ocean and delighted food in the evenings. What more could a fisherman ask for.
Our coastal/Inshore fishing day was epic and we caught:
3 Roosterfish
2 Wahoo
4 Yellow Fin Tuna
5 Jacks
2 Mackerel
The popping action was fantastic & the excitement we had with fish chasing (fighting for!) our Poppers was almost as good as the fish that we caught. Good sized Snappers, Blue Fin Travellys, Rainbow Runners, Big Eyed Jacks, Jacks, Barracuda, Mackerel. 4 big Roosters followed Poppers but would not commit.
