A huge happy 40th birthday to Matt & what a way to celebrate with a holiday in Costa Rica & catching your first ever Billfish!
After a slow morning searching for Billfish with no luck, Captain Manuel Gabuardi called for the lines to be pulled in so he could change locations. After a quick move 5 miles, no sooner had we reset the lines, we had a Sailfish in the spread.
A quick flurry of action resulted in 2 Sailfish, with another one missed, a nice Bull Dorado & another one missed.
So 2 for 3 on Sailfish & 1 for 2 on Dorado on a simply stunning January day Fishing in Costa Rica!
