Day 2 Fly Fishing in Quepos Costa Rica for Julian, Sebastian & Skyler was a day of two halves.
We had non stop action in the morning & released 5 Jacks & a very small Roosterfish at the Parrita Rivermouth over Low tide. As the tide came in the bite switch off and the afternoon was super slow with just a couple of Mackerel bites across the various Rock & Beach locations we fished. We spent much of the day patiently trying to catch a bigger Rooster on Fly but Julian was pleased he finally managed to catch a Rooster on Fly albeit a miniature version! We have 2 days left & would love to catch a 20lb plus Rooster on Fly. Fingers & toes crossed!
We raised 20+ fish today including Roosterfish, Jacks, Red Snapper, Mackerel & Neelefish and were unlucky for the hook to pull on several good fish including a nice Snapper.
