FLY FISHING ABOARD GOOD DAY COSTA RICA
Just a superb day Offshore yesterday aboard GOOD DAY here at Marina Pez Vela
Joe, Karen & Joey from Pennsylvania joined us, such a lovely family & we had a blast out there creating family memories to last a lifetime.
After a slow morning the Sailfish bite turned on & we had non stop action from lunchtime onwards. Each of them caught a couple of Sailfish each until the final half hour when we switched things up to the Fly whhvh resulted in a double hookup, one on Fly, one on conventional.

Huge congrats to Joey for his dream Sailfish on the Fly, caught on a 12wt R.L. Winston Rod Company & Tibor Reels and to his dad Joe for a huge Sailfish taping out at 106” in length around 100lbs.
