The main news is that the sardines/threadfin herring have arrived in numbers which is our primary inshore baitfish during the dry season. When the sardines are here, the larger fish are usually not far behind and the fishing improves at our rivermouth, beach and rock locations.
We caught a stunning Roosterfish, some nice sized Mackerel & Jacks whilst losing & missing several other fish. The fishing itself proved to be a little slow, thankfully in beautiful surroundings and with nice weather, everyone enjoyed the day.
Catch report:
1 Roosterfish
2 Mackerel
2 Jacks
Rest day today & back out there fishing in quepos again tomorrow!
