OFFSHORE FISHING FOR BILLFISH & DORADO IN QUEPOS COSTA RICA
2 Sailfish & a Dorado for the Ray family from Texas yesterday aboard GOOD DAY.
Both Sailfish were tagged & released for Gray FishTag Research the biggest measuring out to 108”, a cracking fish. We were unlucky to pull the hooks & miss a few more Sails too, a nice little Sail bite has developed Offshore the past few days.
We ran to some Tuna to finish up the day but they were running deeper under the spinner Dolphins and we could not get a bite out of them.
The kids had a great time watching the Dolphins but the highlight of their day was when we came to the rescue of a turtle that was caught up in some debris, just a great moment to see the kids faces when the turtle swam away strong!
