During yesterday’s Offshore trip aboard GOOD DAY we got off to a perfect start catching a Sailfish, quickly followed by a Blue Marlin, a first ever Marlin for our Angler John. We then hooked a second Blue Marlin only to lose it after a few jumps when it threw the hook. A short while after we hooked a nice sized Dorado which also managed to get away, our luck for the day had clearly changed!
The bite then switched off and we had a slow few hours with just 1 more lost Sailfish to close out the day.
Catch Report, Jan 8th:
1 for 2 Blue Marlin
1 for 3 Sailfish (raised 4)
And lost a nice Dorado
