ROOSTERFISH ACTION ABOARD GOOD DAY!
We had a very cool day aboard GOOD DAY today as Derek, James, Chris & Jimbo joined us for a half day inshore fishing in Quepos.
We caught 3 nice Roosterfish and lost/missed bites from several more. We landed one very special fish which measured 51 inches and may have been in the 45-50lb range. We never weigh Roosterfish so that we can return them quickly, so don't really know for sure, but it was a great fish!
We also caught a Big eyed Jack on a popper which put up a great fight for Jimbo on light tackle.
We then had 2 Humpback whales pay us a visit and sure enough we didn't get a bite for 20 mins whilst they were around as everything else must have run a mile! Awesome to see them up close.
