Scott, Tom & Vic joined us aboard GOOD DAY yesterday & we set out for a meatfish trip, hoping for some Mahis, Tuna or the Reef species we have been catching recently.
The Fish Gods had other ideas for us though & we raised 3 Blue Marlin in the first 90 minutes of the day, tagging & releasing 1 for Gray FishTag Research, coming undone on the 2nd & having the 3rd in the spread for a while which would just not commit. Huge congrats to Scott on his firs t ever Marlin after A LOT of trying, he’s lived in Costa Rica 20 years & been fishing with us for the past 5!
We then caught 3 Sailfish from 5 raised, plus a bonus Barracuda & had one close encounter with a Mahi which threw the hook.
It was a shame that the meatfish didn’t work out but it’s Always a GOOD DAY!
