Today we welcomed Joe & Ann aboard GOOD DAY together with their three children Joe, Claire & Katy for an Offshore Charter in Quepos, Costa Rica. Joe Senior will be celebrating his 50th Birthday in a few days time & the fishing trip was part of birthday treat for this special milestone.
It was a really stunning day on the water & we seen Turtles, lots of Sea Birds, Common Dolphins & as many Spinner Dolphins as we have ever seen. We encountered three different groups of Spinner Dolphins today all holding Tuna but our first couple of hours fishing did not produce any fish with just one missed bite in some perfect current lines. The third group of Dolphins that we found held Tuna that were more obliging and we managed to catch 5 Yellow Fin Tuna with 20 year old Joe also released his first ever Sailfish rounding off an excellent day!
The guys have a nice dinner booked this evening to enjoy the Tuna that they caught.
