Today we welcomed honeymooners Steve & Shannon from North Carolina aboard the 'Good Day' for a full day offshore charter. Great to have the guys with us during their honeymoon & wishing them all the best!
We fished 20-22 miles off Quepos where most of the charter fleet had chosen to fish today. There were lots of Sailfish out there and we were treated to sights of free jumping Sailfish for most of the day.
Despite the crazy hot water temperature of up to 90.8f we raised 12 Sailfish, got bites from 8 and released 4. Steve had caught lots of Sailfish before but it was great to see Shannon catch her first 2 Sailfish in Costa Rica and fight them like a pro.
Nice to see some good Tuna showing with 1 boat landing 5 yellow fin today & another releasing a nice Blue Marlin.
Looking forward to getting back out there tomorrow!!
