We have just finished the final couple of days fishing with Tim from the UK who joined us aboard GOOD DAY for a week’s fishing in Costa Rica.
It has been a great weeks fishing, some great days, a couple of slow ones but all in all some quality fish caught on mostly light tackle from Daiwa UK that Tim was trialing in warmer climates.
Day 5
1 Dorado
1 Rock Snapper
2 Yellow Tail Snappers
1 Jack
1 Rainbow Runner
1 Bonito
Day 6
3 Snook
5 Roosterfish
1 Jack
1 Needlefish
We worked SUPER HARD today casting Top water poppers for most of the day to try and catch a Cubera Snapper to complete the INSHORE GRAND SLAM of Roosterfish, Snook & Cubera Snapper but the slam was not to be today unfortunately.
Another great week fishing in Costa Rica and looking forward to seeing Tim back aboard GOOD DAY in February!
