Today we welcomed Sanjay Patel aboard GOOD DAY for his first ever Offshore fishing experience in Costa Rica. Lady Luck was indeed shining & Sanjay had an awesome 50 minute battle with a beautiful Blue Marlin which put on an aerial battle which Blues are so famous for. We estimated the fish at 200lb which put up a great fight on 30lb class tackle.
We missed a Sailfish and spent time live baiting for Tuna next to the Spinner Dolphins but could not get them to bite. It was a great day to be on the water with lots to see, hundreds of Spinner Dolphins, Turtles, a Thresher Shark & a Manta Ray!
A day Sanjay will not forget for a while!!
