Awesome to be a part of the 2017 Offshore World Championships where 50 teams from 29 countries are battling it out here in Costa Rica! It was a slow day for us today with just 1 lost Sailfish but we had an awesome bunch of guys aboard who were representing the Turks & Caicos, after they won the Caicos Classic Billfish tournament with 3 Blue Marlin in 2016.
Congrats to the top teams & boats today, 2 Marlin & 1 Sailfish is leading the pack & just 1 Sailfish separates the top 7 teams so it's all to play for in day 2 tomorrow! 21 Blue Marlin & 37 Sails released today, tons more Marlin were missed/lost!
