We hooked a stunning Blue Marlin yesterday, 250lb+ which put on some fantastic jumps near the boat before he spat the lure and was gone forever! It always happens when you least expect it - our trolling gear had only been in the water 5 minutes!
We caught some consolation Groupers & other stuff on the bottom for dinner.
It was great to have Tim, Richard, John, Randy & Doug aboard GOOD DAY who are all long term Costa Rica residents. We put this day together in support of the life guard program for Dominical and the surrounding area - thank you for the work you do there guys.
It has been a good couple of weeks for Sailfish, Marlin & Tuna, 4-5 Sailfish releases per day on many boats with Marlin & Tuna showing most days too.
We are fishing again tomorrow so let's see what that has in store!
