We welcomed Dave, Ernesto & Paul for a full day offshore charter aboard the 'Good Day' out of the Marina Pez Vela, Quepos.
The guys all set out to catch their first Sailfish and the fishing did not disappoint! We had 15 Sailfish raises, 14 Bites, releasing 6 Sailfish and losing 1.
With each of the guys having a great morning releasing two Sailfish each, we decided to head inshore for the final hour to see if we could catch a Snapper for dinner. We drifted Blue Runner live baits along the rocky islands off Manuel Antonio where we were treated to some stunning scenery but unfortunately we couldn't find a Snapper to end the day on a high note.
One of the highlights of the day was Ernesto's battle with a big Sailfish which put up a great fight and was awesome to watch.
